The Presence
Today is an important day; in fact every day is an important day. This is the day the Lord has made we should rejoice and be glad in it. There is breath in our lungs which we can force through our vocal chords fueled by our hearts to give a praise of thanksgiving for the wonderful works he has done in our lives.
Wealth is worthless in comparison to the riches of his presence and glory. To have his presence is greater than all the pleasures this world can give; nothing satisfies the soul more. In his presence is fullness of joy, in his presence is fullness of life, and in his presence there is amazing peace.
He beckons us “Call upon me and I will show you great and mighty things you do not know”. In his presence light opens our eyes to things unseen. O that men would lift him up; O that men would praise him openly; O that men would spread this word that is nigh us and even in our mouths; this word that changes the hearts of men!
In the midnight hour when darkness insist itself upon us; yet shall our thoughts be heavenward. In the dawning of the day when the brightness of sunrays burst on the scene; yet shall our minds think upon His goodness! In the hottest of noonday sun when sweat beads our brow; yet shall our meditation be upon the higher things of God. Yea, I will say of His love there is none that can compare. Yea, I will say of His wondrous care there is none deeper.
Yea, I will say of the Lord there is none like Him. Today is important in many facets; life is complex and we interact with a myriad of souls.
What will they see in me and thee? Will they see Jesus? Will they know He abides in us? O that the children of the Most High would shine out with His presence.
I have decided to follow Jesus; I will humble myself and bow before my King. He has granted me another day to serve Him: I submit myself to Him! O my brethren beloved of the Lord let not your hearts be troubled; for there is one who walks beside you; open to Him your ears.
Remember today His loving mercies and take joy in your existence; give him praise, honor, and glory He is our soon coming King. Selah!
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
