THE BLESSINGS OF WORSHIP, PRAYER, AND OBEDIENCE
Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty! He is worthy of all praise and we worship and adore Him.
It is true that a person shall reap what they’ve sown, if they’ve sown to the spirit they shall benefit from that spiritual investment, if they’ve sown to the flesh, the deeds of their fleshly contributions shall come back to them in like matter. Every act enacts a reaction! Contrary to the carnal opinions of many in the Body of Christ today, what we say and do matters.
CONCERNING OUR WORDS:
(29) Let no unwholesome words ever pass your lips, but let all your words be good for benefiting others according to the need of the moment, so that they may be a means of blessing to the hearers.
(30) And beware of grieving the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you have been sealed in preparation for the day of Redemption. Ephesians 4:29-30 WNT
CONCERNING OUR DEEDS:
(10) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 KJV
(23) Whatever you do, accomplish it from the soul, as to the Lord, and not to people, Colossians 3:23 LEB
We are the Anointed of the Lord called to be Holy because He is Holy. If we would be fashionable let us be spiritually fashionable. Holiness is still the greatest fashion filled with godly passion. To adorn ourselves in the holiness of heart with cause us to radiate with spiritual radiance and vivaciousness, because praise, worship, and obedience looks good on the royal child of the most high God.
Have you ever noticed that we tend to imitate the ones we love the dearest in our lives, it only stands to reason that if we love our Heavenly Father above all others we would imitate his character and present his personality to others through ourselves by living by the Spirit. This is exactly what happens when we begin to Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Hence; the old man ( person ) perishes day by day while the new man ( creation ) is renewed day by day. It is the process of sanctification a continual purging with the purpose of purifying our lives.
True Worship is communicating heart to heart with the Heavenly Father, True Praise is about exalting God simply because we love Him, and True Obedience is done out of an honest willingness to please our Heavenly Father not to impress others.
(9) Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.
(10) For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
(11) For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
(12) O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. Psalms 84:9-12 KJV
Blessings flow from God above; because every good and perfect gift or blessing comes from above in due season, not prematurely, but in due season. So it would benefit us much more to try to force a green tree to give ripe fruit, all the promises of God are yes and amen, but they come in God’s timing. Selah!
Shalom & Agape!
