SEXIFICATION
(1) Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2nd Corinthians 7:1 KJV
The sexual revolution has produced a sexually charged and overly sexually minded populace around the world. The old adage “ sex sales “ is quite true when it comes to advertisements and fashion today. The more sexy something is considered the more it sales,
I want to coin a phrase “ the sexification of society “. When I was a child many things which are considered or at least in the beginning “ an alternative lifestyle “ were taboo and looked on as abominations. Why? Because of the central role the Christian Bible held in the midst of our society, when Christian Conservatism was the norm, and the so-called Liberal or Progressive mindset was not tolerated.
There use to be a line drawn in the sand; a line of demarcation, a line of clarity but now a cloud of obscurity that muddles the minds of our up and coming youth or our next generation of Christians which find the issues of sexuality defined by secular humanist and not the plain language of the bible concerning illicit sexual behavior.
It’s amazing to me how many that I’ve talked to who do not feel homosexuality is a sin or abnormal. One Christian writer said “ if man with man is the highest form of love, then why didn’t God create a man to be Adams companion ? “ . When we begin to loosen our biblical morals and allow for any kind of behavior that is against God’s word especially when it comes to sexual relationships, we are on the path to moral bankruptcy and abomination.
The nucleus of humanity is the family one man and one woman married in holy matrimony who bare children who grow up to do the same. There is no such thing as casual sex, or freedom in fornication. Any sex outside of New Testament Marriage is a sinful rebellious act against God.
Unfortunately we have those who have been possessed by the devil to manipulate our children into the lie which is mankind worshipping sexual preference and inclinations which are part of the sin nature; instead of the God of their creation.
When sex became an accepted preference or orientation by societies it opened the door for deviates with more destructive behaviors to become more common. So many misunderstand the difference between biblical love and tolerance. How can one be a “ world changer “ and go along to get along with the world. As one pastor I know use to often say “ any old dead fish can float down stream, it takes a live one to fight against the current ‘.
(12) Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. 1st Timothy 6:12 KJV
Remember the bible calls those who profess themselves to be wise concerning worshiping the bodies of men and women fools in Romans chapter one, because they have traded the love for God for the lust of man. The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride associated with this life are sin and lead us straight into rebellion and ungodly lifestyles. As Christians we hold the keys to eternal life, we have the truth that sets the captive free, we have the answers through God’s word to heal hearts and mend lives. Not the so called experts of the world with sin soaked philosophies. They have tainted truth we have truth which has been forged from the heart of God himself pure and untainted. Our truth leads to contentment, the worlds truth leads to un-contentment.
(14) But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
(15) This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
(16) For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
(17) But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
(18) And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. James 3:14-18 KJV
