SPIRIT LIFE LESSON:
Building Bridges and Tearing down Walls, is much harder than it sounds, it takes CLOUT!
Commitment,
Love,
Openness,
Understanding,
Time.
We are called to bridge the breach that divides and leaves us vulnerable to the enemy. But unity for the sake of unity is not conformity, its just tolerance. But unity with the primary purpose of restoration and reinstatement is the prime directive of our leadership and laity responsibility. The Aim is Obedience to the Whole of Christ’s Law.
(1) Brethren, if anybody be detected in any misconduct, you who are spiritual should restore such a one in a spirit of meekness. And let each of you keep watch over himself, lest he also fall into temptation.
(2) Always carry one another's burdens, and so obey the whole of Christ's Law. Galatians 6:1-2 WNT
We are new creations with new assignments and purpose in life, we are called to unity through our individual ministry’s of reconciliation.
(17) So that if any one is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old state of things has passed away; a new state of things has come into existence.
(18) And all this is from God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and has appointed us to serve in the ministry of reconciliation. 2nd Corinthians 5:17-18 WNT
Brethren keep the faith today by asking God to increase your spiritual CLOUT, start a self examination that yields your own restoration in breached areas and the reach out to others in fellowship, because in God’s eyes he only has One People and One Church. Selah!
Shalom & Agape!
