THAT SHEEP SURE DOES HAVE SOME SHARP TEETH!
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Matthew 7:15 KJV
It’s not how much you can shout, how much you can run the aisles, how much you prophesy, how good you sing, or how good one can preach. There are a lot folk out there with the only intention they have; is making you feel good, they act like they care for you, but when the rubber meets the road! Are they preaching, teaching, and living the true gospel?
False preachers come disguised as the genuinely real thing, but they’re no more than wolves in sheep’s clothing. If you think you will get to heaven by just taking their word for it, you better read the bible, you may be surprised that what they’re preaching and what the bible actually says are two different things.
(13) For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
(14) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
(15) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 2nd Corinthians 11:13-15 KJV
Brethren keep the faith by being on guard by comparing what the bible teaches and what a preacher preaches. God gave us the gift of discernment, so be discreet when it comes to those we allow to deposit things into our lives.
(1) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
(2) And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
(3) And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 2nd Peter 2:1-3 KJV
There are many deceivers whose only purpose is to fluff you up, so they can get you into a state of ecstasy, so you will give into their coffers and gain a large following. The gospel is not about how high you can jump, shout, and supposedly get drunk in the Spirit, but how much like Christ you become with each passing day. Yes! You jump all you want to, but its how you live when you hit the ground.
(14) Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
(15) For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
(16) For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
(17) For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
(18) While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2nd Corinthians 4:14-18 KJV
Yeah folks some of those sheep sure are good at what they do, they sure can say some of the most wise sounding things, but man! Some of them sure do have some awful sharp teeth. Don’t you think it a bit strange; a sheep with fangs. That’s a Faith Fact from a Faith Perspective!
