A TESTIMONY AND INVITATION
There is one desire which outweighs every other desire in my life. I want to be pleasing to the Lord and to do his perfect will for my life.
There are things in this life which touch me deeply and profoundly! When I am in prayer intimately with my Heavenly Father the senses of my spiritual being are moved to the core of my being. When I touch the Father he touches me and tears well up and flow and my heart cries out in jubilation as I am provoked to worship Him.
When I am in intercession for others and the depths of love are put into action as I call out the names and needs of others. When I pray for the lost souls of this world of who many of my own family are among them I pray in the sincerity of desperation in hope of their salvation. It pains me to think of anyone going to hell for eternity.
The anchor of my soul is Jesus Christ; though the enemy tries to pull me away Jesus is able to secure me in the waves and winds of adversities. I bind his word to my heart and I refresh myself in that word each and every day that I might sense the conviction of the Holy Spirit if I stray in my thoughts or actions.
I have found that God is present and He has a voice and it is my responsibility to wait upon him in silence when I petition him for his will concerning the present and the future.
I have learned the freedom that comes from releasing myself from the failures and faults of the past and how liberating it is to live in the present with all the benefits of grace and my wonderful relationship with my Lord and Savior through daily communion in the spirit. I take pleasure in the fact that I am an heir of salvation and a benefactor of the promises of God in Christ Jesus. I have full assurance in the truth of God who has sworn upon himself that I have become a new creation through the shed blood of the Apostle and High Priest of my profession of faith who is Christ Jesus!
(17) Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
(18) That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
(19) Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
(20) Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. Hebrews 6:17-20 KJV
I’ve been through many times of trial, temptation, and persecution! I’ve not always passed them with flying colors and many times I’ve failed miserably. Yet; my Savior was always there to pick me up when I cried out in repentance. I contend that God has saved us for eternity’s sake and that in this life we shall have tribulation; yet the older I am in Christ the less I fall; but his mercy and grace always meet me at the point of my need.
(14) Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
(15) For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
(16) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16 KJV
Jesus has been through it all for the purpose of taking us through! He understands our weakness and our infirmities and knows how we feel. Because he was victorious he can empower us to be victors when the world is dead set upon making us victims and when we make victims of ourselves. Jesus came preaching grace and truth and as many as received him and the message he enabled to become the sons of God. He is bidding the lost souls of the world even today to come and be saved. Jesus said:
(28) Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
(29) Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
(30) For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 KJV
I bid you come to the Kingdom that never shall perish! I bid you come and find joy that is not of this world! I bid you come receive Christ who died for your sins! I pray you open your eyes to the grace that awaits you and receive mercy for your sins! Come and lay your burdens down and find rest for your souls for the harness of Jesus is easy and his burden is light. You will find a wealth of peace for your weariness and a faith that is steadfast and sure! You will find true love and acceptance and a new life of meaning and purpose. “Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and no man can come to the Father except by him.” Come to the fountains of the waters of life and drink freely and let the refreshing waters cleanse your soul!
(16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV
I have never regretted coming to Jesus when I gave my heart to him at an altar one night at a revival meeting. My life was changed forever and for the better. God changed this hard hearted sinner into a loving man of God who has been used mightily for the Eternal Kingdom of God. Where I was ignorant he gave me knowledge and where I was unlearned he gave me education. He enhanced my life in the spiritual enlightenment of his word and literally thousands have been changed through his supernatural impartation. Would you be saved? The greatest thing you will miss is an eternal hell of which there is no return once you arrive there. I submit to you today; there is nothing in this world that is worth going to hell for! The most important question I can ask you today is; would you be saved?
