FAITH
You’ve probably heard the phrase feed your faith and starve your fear to death. Faith is fact but faith is an act of our will deciding to stand firm upon our foundation. We must predetermine we are going to obey the word when the trying of our faith comes.
(22) Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalms 55:22 KJV
Psalm 55 is a song of prayer concerning our enemies. It is psalm that reminds us our frailty, our vulnerability, and our fears. We see King David in peril because of his mentality and his fear his enemies.
Fear is a fiery dart which is thrust at our mentality, its mission is to maim the mind and numb it to faith through overwhelming it which thoughts of destruction. David turned to God in prayer saying: “Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.”
God’s ear is open to compassion, to the commendable, and the censurable. God hears the cries of the right but his face is against them which do iniquity. He is compassionate to those of his whom need compassion; he fortifies us through indwelling his own.
Brethren, let us look to heaven for the strength to overcome, overpower, and overtake the enemies which defiantly oppose us. It is those spiritual forces which are in strategic operation against us. They come to steal, kill, and destroy the blessings, life, and plans of God for us his children. Remember faith is a fact but faith is an act; we must be preemptive in our spiritual warfare and stand in the power of God’s might putting on the whole armor of God. Remember my brethren if God be for us, then who can stand against us. We are conquers who have be chosen by God to the warfare in which we are engaged; he has not chosen defeat but to the contrary victory. Let us bend our knees and bow our hearts as we raise our hands to our ever present, all knowing, and all powerful God. The battle will soon be a fading memory. Selah
Shalom, Agape, & Amen!
