OUR NATION NEEDS REVIVAL
The reproach that is upon the nation, is taken lightly by many. The Leadership, virtually all those in Washington D.C. , sold out to themselves and not without the consent of a good percentage of the population.
I feel in my spirit that there are many Christians in this country who are concerned but not compassionate about the digression of this nation has take these last seven years, and many don’t even discern where we are spiritually and prophetically. Other countries are going through the same digression, as well.
It takes more than shaking one’s head and rolling of the eyes to change things. First it takes prayer, then it takes action. Just voicing our objections on Facebook etc is not truly enough to change anything. People sitting at a desktop, laptop, or holding smart phone, or tablet are entertaining themselves through indulging themselves without engaging themselves to do anything else.
The honest to goodness truth is that people don’t want to hear the truth anymore. The Lord warned us that in the last days this attitude would permeate the body of Christ.
(1) I solemnly implore you, in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus who is about to judge the living and the dead, and by His Appearing and His Kingship:
(2) proclaim God's message, be zealous in season and out of season; convince, rebuke, encourage, with the utmost patience as a teacher.
(3) For a time is coming when they will not tolerate wholesome instruction, but, wanting to have their ears tickled, they will find a multitude of teachers to satisfy their own fancies;
(4) and will turn away from listening to the truth and will turn aside to fables.
(5) But as for you, you must exercise habitual self-control, and not live a self-indulgent life, but do the duty of an evangelist and fully discharge the obligations of your office. 2nd Timothy 4:1-5 WNT
Those who are called cannot appease the flesh by digressing and polluting the message, we must pray and preach the truth no matter if it is accepted or not, because there are those who are still hungry and thirsty for righteousness. There are still those who are lost and have not heard the true gospel of salvation, healing, and deliverance. Unfortunately what passes for the gospel and prophetic ministry today is nothing more than fables, fantasies, and fairy tales.
The above passage speaks of being in and out of season, which means when its convenient or inconvenient, whether it seems the right time or not, be instant, or standing ready to make a stand, to be zealous to reprove, rebuke, or exhort with patience by the unction of the Spirit. Today people don’t realize that obedience to the word of God is where their true content is found. Obedience to the gospel is something that is not easy for the flesh, but profitable by the Spirit. The sword of the Lord is designed to cut away the flesh for the purpose of growing in the Spirit.
I would be remiss as a minister of the gospel to only preach and teach the promises of God without also bringing balance by teaching the principles of God’s word. There will be a day of judgment when all shall stand before the Lord and give an account. Our nation along with many others are falling into a systematic sin embracing culture that denies the existence of the only True and Wise God. He is Yahweh, and Yeshua is his Son who is coming to judge the quick and the dead at his appearing. It’s time to pray for Revival in the Land.
Prayer without corresponding action is useless, words without weigh, words without worth, and words without will cannot change anything. Rhetoric without Righteousness is Repulsive, but Rhetoric engrained with Righteousness is Reviving. We need the Truth to set us free from the bonds of lukewarm living in this hour. Let the silent giant of true Christianity revive and win as many as we can before Jesus comes. Let us be instant in season and out of season for the sake of the lost and the lukewarm.
Brethren keep the faith today by praying to God for answers and then by obeying God by being doers of the word and not hearers only. Selah!
