THINK ABOUT IT!
We should understand that we are all human beings who struggle through this life. Yet some have chosen human preferences and carnal religion over their spiritual walk with Christ. Once we care more for our own beliefs, desires, and or politics than the true gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We have abandoned truth for the lies of this world. Then it becomes easy to justify anything because of human reason which can change with the new tide of emotion. We must stay scripturally focused and spiritually sensitive to the present realities of the days in which we are living.
Let us incite love, joy, and peace concerning the brethren. Do you believe we are at the end of days? Then it is time to be about the Father’s business. The world has a way of getting us tangled up and distracted.
(16) Because all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
(17) And the world passes away, and the lust of it, but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:15-17 MKJV
Have you noticed the insensitivity of many Christians toward other Christians; it’s disheartening! Tragedies seem to have a way of bringing out the worst in people and it seems that today’s brand of Christians by and enlarge are not any different than their counter parts in the world. Brethren; the Lord is our only recourse and the body of Christ is our eternal family. All the things of the world are not of the Father; but he who does the will of God abides eternally.
These are indeed the end of days and many untoward and perverse things just grow exponentially; evil will increase and evil men will come to deceive and be deceived. The governments are uniting in an assault against Christ and the Church: the remnant of God is rising and the spiritual warfare is becoming intense. Where is your heart? Where are your priorities? Who is the Lord of your life?
When we grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ we learn to love one another in Spirit and Truth. Our worship of God is filled with spiritual intensity and love. Our focus is to please him and rejoice in our relationship with him. Oh there is joy unspeakable and full of glory once we abandon ourselves totally to him. Many unfortunately have become callus, empathetic, and indifferent concerning their relationship with the Father and it shows in their relationship with each other. We are born from above; we are new creations; we are spiritual creations who inhabit a body of flesh and blood; with a soul (mind, will, and emotions) yet our experience and activity is supposed to be above all other things a spiritual mindset which extenuates the positive, the optimistic, and the faith of the Christ that we serve. Listen brethren; even though we go through valleys of death and disease; even though we are exposed openly to the enemy; even though the world, the devil, and the flesh are set against us. Even though there are failures and dysfunctions in our families and many turn against us along the way. It is the love of Christ which sustains us continually!
Let us look to Christ our Redeemer, our Healer, our Deliverer, and our Provider. All things are Possible!
Let our love be the love of the Spirit, the love of the Father, and the humility of life in Christ. If you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus; you are my brother and my sister! We may find areas of disagreement; but we can find joy in worshipping Christ together. There are many doctrines which can divide us or unite us; as long as they’re not heretical we can agree to disagree agreeably. The world needs Jesus and doesn’t need to see Christians attacking each other over doctrine which can be debated in private or over worldly issues which will certainly pass with the coming of Messiah. Sin is sin and all the world is caught up, tied up, tangled up, and wrapped up in sin! We are saved to witness to the world through proclamation or lifestyle declaration.
(8) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
(9) Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. Philippians 4:8-9 KJV
When we allow ourselves to be so caught up in the world; how can we maintain peace? The above scriptures tell us how to conduct our thought life. I want to be a good Christian; because I have been a bad Christian full of fear and failure. Fear robs us and all the world is controlled by fear which is a force of evil when emasculates mankind for the intents and purposes of the devil and the end time scenario. But if we are secure in our anchor of hope; Christ will give us peace that permeates in and out of us. Brethren we are called to be stewards of reconciliation! Let us then walking accordingly! Selah
